Paint Sprayer

We are working with an established specialist business within the forklift and materials handling industry, supporting customers with the refurbishment, preparation, repair and maintenance of a wide range of forklift trucks and attachments. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Paint Prepper and Paint Sprayer to join their busy workshop team in Mansfield.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing forklift trucks, attachments and components for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean, smooth and correctly prepared before applying a high-quality finish. You will also be involved in stripping and reassembling panels and wheels, with some basic mechanical work required.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect surfaces for contamination, damage and imperfections before painting.Remove wheels, panels and other components from forklift trucks and attachments.Clean, degrease, scrape and sand surfaces ready for painting.Fill dents, cracks and damaged areas where required.Mask and protect areas that should not be painted.Prepare and spray forklifts, attachments and components using 2-pack paint.Reassemble panels, wheels, batteries and other components following completion.Use spray booth equipment, clean air systems, heating controls, compressors and air guns safely.Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.Prepare paints and maintain brushes, rollers and other ..... full job details .....
