About the Role

As a Paint Prepper and Paint Sprayer on the night shift at our Witham site, you will join a permanent team focused on precision finishing. Working Monday to Thursday from 4.30pm to 3.30am, your duties include preparing raw carbon fibre and other surfaces to a high standard for lacquering. You will handle primed and unprimed parts, performing sanding and blocking of clear primer to achieve a flawless finish. Operating the Aquablaster when required is also part of this role. The position offers a salary of £37,000 to £41,600 per annum plus a 20% shift allowance, depending on experience. Full PPE and excellent company benefits are provided.

My client, a reputable engineering company in Witham, Essex is looking for a dedicated Paint Prepper and a dedicated Paint Sprayer to join their night shift team on a permanent basis.

What you''ll be doing:
* Preparing raw carbon fibre and other surfaces to a high standard, ensuring readiness for lacquering.
* Handling primed and unprimed carbon fibre parts, including sanding and blocking of clear primer for a flawless finish.
* Operating the Aquablaster when required, maintaining surface quality.
* Mixing paints and lacquers according to technical data sheets, with experience in matt lacquers being advantageous.
* Ensuring all work meets strict quality standards through regular checks and attention to detail.
