Paint Line Team Leader

RMS are seeking a proactive Paint Line Team Leader to join our clients busy Workshop team in Corby. Location: CorbyContract: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm)Pay: £19.60 per hour (overtime and unsociable hours paid at premium rates) About the Role:Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring workflow efficiency, meeting productivity targets, and driving team performance on the Paint Line. Key responsibilities may include: Support the Workshop Manager and Supervisor in ensuring all jobs are carried out promptly, correctly and effectively.Distribute daily duties across the Paint Line team, ensuring maximum productivity and quality output.Direct, support and motivate team members, providing training and guidance where required.Supervise day-to-day operations, maintaining high quality standards at all times.Drive paint line throughput to maximise utilisation and efficiency.Monitor workflow and staff allocation to ensure deadlines are achieved.Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and records.Ensure all Health and Safety and COSHH regulations are adhered to, with a strong focus on accident prevention.Undertake additional duties as required, appropriate to the role. About you: Experience: At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within the automotive industry.Desirable Qualifications: NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Paint Spraying or similar.Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
