Why this roleThe Paid Media Manager (Digital Activation) role sits within the Commercial Marketing structure. Leading from the front, you’ll work with brand marketing leads, buying, trading, core performance channels and design to execute brand-funded media and influencer campaigns. This role provides exposure to performance marketing, influencer marketing, retail and ecommerce and external brand marketing planning. The Digital Activation team are THG ambassadors and media experts.

Responsibilities

Operate brand-facing, build authentic relationships with LOOKFANTASTIC’s key brand partners to co-develop data-driven digital plans to drive brand growth

Develop and pitch multi-platform digital plans alongside the Partnership Marketing lead to deliver 360 on- and offsite activations

Assist in delivering mid- and post-campaign reporting to demonstrate uplifts and ROI

Collaborate with the influencer team to commission assets for media and channel repurposing

Train delivery and manage workload across direct report(s)

Secure incremental digital investment with new brand partners through effective pitching

Continuously suggest optimisations for campaigns to meet ROI targets

Work with the in-house design team to deliver assets for brand partners

Coordinate with wider marketing teams to ensure digital plans are delivered effectively

Report performance vs targets and contribute to growth of the function

Budget management: review partner budgets and plans to maximise value

Ongoing learning across key media platforms to remain specialist and deliver innovative media strategy

Qualifications

5+ years of paid media / digital marketing experience with hands-on media skills

Self-starter and self-motivated

Professional and presentable brand ambassador

Proficient in Facebook Business Manager and TikTok Ads Manager

Beauty / retail enthusiast

Performance mindset

Digitally literate

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excel and reporting competency

Excellent communicator with clear and detailed insights

Critical thinker with problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to deliver creative media solutions

Effective communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face and written

Detail-oriented and process-driven

Proven ability to meet targets

Proven end-to-end sales skills: prospecting, pipeline management, closing, negotiation
