Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions. Perform a range of ophthalmic surgical procedures to the highest clinical standards. Participate in on-call rotas and provide emergency ophthalmic care as required. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and treatment options. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including registrars and SHOs. Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit, research, and quality improvement projects.
