Packing Operator Opportunity!
  
This is a first-class Packing Operator position; this role will be office based in Immingham! The Packing Operator is responsible for accurately packing finished products in line with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role supports efficient production flow by ensuring products are packed, labelled, and prepared for dispatch correctly and on time.

  
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
Annual base Salary of £27,500 per annum
Monday to Friday working hours, office based in Immingham.
33 days holiday leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
4% employee, 5% business pension contribution

THE BUSINESS  
Our client specialises within the Agricultural sector, they are a true market leader within their niche. They seek to appoint a Packing Operator on a permanent basis from day one.

THE ROLE
Packing & Production Support

  • Pack finished products according to work instructions, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure correct quantities, packaging materials, and labelling are used.
  • Meet daily and weekly packing targets while maintaining quality standards.
Quality & Accuracy
  • Carry out visual quality checks to identify damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming products.
  • Report defects, shortages, or issues to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain accurate packing and production records as required.
Health, Safety & Housekeeping
  • Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Use equipment, tools, and PPE correctly.
  • Keep packing areas clean, organised, and free from hazards (5S/housekeeping standards).

 
  
THE PERSON
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or packing environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Manual handling experience is an advantage.
  • Forklift licence (if applicable) is an advantage but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to carry out repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift within manual handling guidelines
