Packing Operative

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking Packing Operative to help ensure our clients high-quality kitchen products are carefully prepared and packaged for delivery. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Packing Operative Benefits:

• Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm & Friday''s 08:00am - 15:30pm
• Rate of Pay: -13.50 per hour
• Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
• Start date: Monday 27th July 2026 - please do not apply if you have a holiday booked in the next 12 weeks as this is the crucial training period
• Interviews will be taking place on Thursday 23rd July
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent
• Location: Rotherham

Packing Operative Duties:

• Carefully packing kitchen units, doors, and accessories for safe delivery
• Quality checking products to ensure they meet organisational standards
• Labelling and wrapping goods accurately
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
• Following all health and safety guidelines
• Working on your own and as part of a team
• Minimum daily requirements (production targets)

Packing Operative Criteria:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing and packing experience is essential
• Good physical fitness as this is a manual role
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling and lots walking as part of the day to day duties**
