iSQ Recruitment is working with a fast-paced food manufacturer near Bury St Edmunds to recruit a Packer with Counterbalance Forklift License. This role involves working within a small team, so strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-focused approach are key.

This is a great opportunity for someone with production, manufacturing or warehouse experience who is looking for a secure, full time, and varied position. A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing flour into 16kg, 25kg and 1-tonne tote bags.
• Loading lorries using a counterbalance forklift.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
• Completing food safety checks and production paperwork.
• Performing magnet and metal detector checks.
• Conducting tool checks.
• Shrink wrapping finished products ready for dispatch.
• Supporting with general mill duties and cleaning during quieter periods.

Essential Criteria

• Valid counterbalance forklift license.
• Full UK driving license & own transport. 
• Good level of English (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
