We are currently recruiting for a Packaging Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to join a growing team. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for successful candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging components and package products in line with SOPs.
• Print, check and apply product, regulatory, and safety labels accurately.
• Carry out quality checks, identify defects and report any issues.
• Follow work instructions and complete production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, PPE compliance, and workplace safety.
• Clean and sanitise equipment and support routine equipment checks where required.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or packaging environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and undertaking manual handling duties where required.
