Packaging Procurement Manager

DarcyBrook is recruiting for a Packaging Procurement Manager for a manufacturing organisation based in Kent. 

The Role :

• Mentor and drive a dedicated squad of sourcing and estimation professionals.

• Engage with a diverse vendor network to secure top-tier value, focusing on cost-efficiency, uncompromised quality, and service reliability.

• Manage the full lifecycle of purchasing for raw materials, external services, and operational consumables.

• Ensure all project bids are razor-sharp, market-competitive, and technically sound.

• Act as the vital link between the shop floor and the boardroom, working with production and technical teams to ensure every spec is both feasible and lean.

• Deliver comprehensive intelligence on production costs, material burn rates, and procurement KPIs to guide executive decision-making.

• Keep a pulse on the UK and European landscape, navigating pricing shifts and supply chain ripples before they become waves.
