We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Packaging Manager to join a leading manufacturing business, taking ownership of a significant packaging spend portfolio and driving procurement excellence across a diverse supplier base. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, building long-term supplier partnerships and supporting business growth through commercially astute sourcing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies across primary, secondary and tertiary packaging categories Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, service, innovation and value are consistently delivered Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to achieve cost savings and favourable terms Identify opportunities to improve supply chain resilience and mitigate procurement risks Monitor market trends, commodity movements and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions Collaborate closely with NPD, Operations, Technical, Sustainability and Supply Chain teams Support packaging innovation projects from concept through to implementation Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable cost efficiencies Ensure supplier compliance with quality, environmental and ethical sourcing standards Manage procurement budgets and report on supplier performance and spend ..... full job details .....
