Packaging Buyer Greater Manchester - Hybrid after initial training period £35,000 - £45,000 plus excellent benefits1 year FTC Our client is an awarding winning textiles manufacturer, supplying UK High Street retailers, Major Supermarkets and Online retailers. They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Packaging Buyer to join the business. This role is offered on a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.Responsibilities include:Manage all packaging across all departments and products categories. This would include: Printed poly bagsNon-woven bagsCard inserts and wrap bandsCommodity shippers and cartonsPrinted shippersWork with multiple stakeholders such as purchasing, buying, demand management, design and marketingGatekeeper for the project management of packaging and design in line with the critical pathOverall lead and responsibility for packaging innovation, value engineering and cost saving.Responsible for attending print runs and final gold seal approval to ensure Brand consistency across rangesPurchasing of all packaging based off forecast and works ordersManaging the digital and hard copy approvals of all packaging, from initial design to final sign off, ensuring consistency through all suppliersControl and report on all packaging projects from budgets to barriers for project progression.Ensuring artwork changes are managed and prioritised correctly in line with forecast and stockTrack artwork code changes Brief in artwork updates into Dalim Have an ..... full job details .....
