Package Manager - Environmental EngineeringLocation: Nuclear project near Oxford Hybrid - 2-3 days per week on site Rate: Up to 60 per hour, Umbrella PAYE Contract: 12 months Start: ASAPThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Package Manager - Environmental Engineering to provide specialist environmental support on a major nuclear decommissioning project near Oxford. You will play a key role in developing and implementing environmental strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding environmental requirements throughout the engineering, pre-construction, construction and decommissioning lifecycle. Working closely with engineering, safety and project teams, contractors and other stakeholders, you will help manage environmental risks, deliver key technical documentation and ensure environmental objectives are integrated into project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Environmental Management Strategies aligned with ISO 14001 and relevant regulatory requirements.Provide expert advice on decommissioning strategies, project phasing and environmental decision-making.Produce key environmental documentation, including Environmental Management Strategies, Regulatory Interface Arrangements, Radiological Monitoring Strategies, Carbon Management Strategies and Sustainability Strategies.Lead the development of the Environment Case for design and decommissioning activities, working alongside the Safety Case team.Embed environmental requirements into engineering ..... full job details .....
