You''ll play a key role in schedule development, performance analysis, and client engagement, helping to shape the successful delivery of complex programmes from start to finish.What you’ll be doing:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and contract requirementsWork collaboratively with delivery teams to define scope, build work breakdown structures, and establish robust baselinesCarry out schedule analysis including critical path, float, risk modelling, and "what-if" scenariosProduce progress reports, S-curves, resource histograms, and dashboard visuals for both internal teams and client stakeholdersProvide early warning on slippage and recommend mitigation or recovery actionsLead or support planning sessions with clients and contractors, challenging assumptions to ensure accuracyCoach junior planners and promote best practice in planning across the teamWhat we’re looking for:Experience planning across major UK infrastructure projects—rail, highways, defence, energy or utilities preferredProficient in Primavera P6 (essential), with additional experience in MS Project, TILOS or cost/risk tools seen as a bonusFamiliarity with NEC contract suite and its impact on schedule management and reportingSkilled communicator with confidence engaging project teams and client stakeholdersDegree qualified in a relevant field or equivalent practical experienceStrong attention to detail, critical thinking and ability to operate independently or as part of an integrated teamUK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as ..... full job details .....
