Overheads and Operational Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Overheads and Operational Accountant based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Overheads and Operational Accountant role Salary: £ 35,000Location: BedfordshireType of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-1pm Responsibilities of the Overheads and Operational Accountant Take responsibility for monthly overhead cost centre accounting across the businessPrepare and post overhead journalsEnsure overhead costs are correctly coded and reviewedProvide support during the month end close processPrepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain clear audit trails and reconciliationsFinance support for operational and functional teamsSupport the purchase-to-pay processesMaintain supporting documentation and audit filesSupport audit processes and year end reporting activities Requirements for a successful Overheads and Operational Accountant Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience Previous experience in overhead accounting, management accounting or operational financeStrong attention to detail What our Client offers Health cash planRetail discount and gym membership About Allstaff RecruitmentWe re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
