In this crucial role, youandrsquo;ll carry out repair, maintenance, and upgrade work on wood pole overhead line network, operating at voltages up to 33kV. Youandrsquo;ll help ensure a safe, consistent, and high-performing electricity supply for customers.
What we require from you
- NVQ Level 2 / City andamp; Guilds or equivalent qualification
- Current HV/LV/Limited Authorisation (SPEN, ENW, or other DNOs)
- Skilled in working safely at height
- Practical experience with MEWPs, winches, tracked plant, and lifting equipment
- Qualified in pole top rescue procedures
- Solid grasp of safety protocols related to overhead line operations
- Comfortable working under safety documentation as part of a team
- Understanding of environmental and quality standards
- Valid UK driving licence (HGV is a strong advantage)
- Confident with off-road driving and challenging environments
- Strong communicator with a focus on customer service
- Capable of completing accurate work reports and documentation
- Basic IT literacy
