Review contractor/consultant design proposals, ensuring compliance with relevant design specification and guidance. Take on a Project Engineering role, ensuring engineering governance is followed, co-ordination with all Engineering Disciplines and support/assist others in the project team around managing engineering risks and utilising opportunities for the project to excel. Act as the point of contact for overhead line engineering and represent engineering at key strategic, commercial, programme and site project meetings. Promote and manage safety within the assigned projects through the implementation of CDM procedures and practices, ensuring the project engineering is compliant with company, HSE and industry regulations.
