Overhead Crane OperatorLocation: Cradley HeathSalary: 13 - 14 per hourHours: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pmJob Type: Temporary to PermanentPertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a busy manufacturing and engineering environment.The successful candidate will have previous experience operating an overhead crane and be confident moving heavy materials safely and efficiently around a busy factory.This is a long-term temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.The RoleOperating an overhead crane to lift, move and position heavy materialsLoading and unloading steel, sheet metal and other manufacturing materialsMoving materials safely around the production areaUsing lifting equipment in line with company proceduresChecking loads and ensuring materials are safely secured before liftingSupporting production and manufacturing teams with material movementsAssisting with loading and unloading deliveries when requiredFollowing production instructions and health and safety proceduresMaintaining a safe and tidy working environmentCarrying out general production duties when required The Successful CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience as an Overhead Crane Operator A valid Overhead Crane Licence / CertificateExperience operating overhead cranes within a manufacturing, engineering, steel or fabrication environmentExperience moving heavy or awkward loads safelyGood ..... full job details .....
