Overhead Crane Operator - WinsfordES Recruit are recruiting for experienced Overhead Crane Operators to join an established engineering and structural steel business based in Winsford. This is a long-term opportunity working within a busy workshop environment, handling and moving large structural steel beams and materials.Who the role would suitThis role would suit someone with previous experience operating overhead cranes, slinging loads or handling heavy steel/metal products within an engineering, fabrication, manufacturing or structural steel environment.Previous crane or slinging experience is essential; however, formal certification is not required, as the company will provide the necessary training and certification.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating overhead cranes within a busy workshopLoading and unloading machinery and work areasMoving large structural steel beams safely around the workshopSlinging and securing steel and other heavy loadsEnsuring loads are correctly balanced and secured before liftingWorking closely with welders, fabricators and production teamsFollowing lifting procedures and site health and safety requirementsCarrying out general workshop duties when requiredHoursMonday-Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pm Friday: 7:45am - 12:45pm 39 hours per weekPay 14.62 per hour PAYE 19.04 per hour Umbrella / CIS If you have previous experience operating overhead cranes or slinging structural steel and are looking for long-term work in Winsford, we would like to hear from ..... full job details .....
