Overhead Crane Operative

Job Title: Overhead Crane/Slinger Location: Loughborough, LeicestershireDuration: Temp to PermShifts: Days We are currently recruiting for a Production Serviceman that holds a valid FLT Licence (B1)and Over head Crane licence for an ongoing contract based in Loughborough.To ensure continuity of production materials and general housekeeping duties within all areas. You will provide indirect labour to transformer production winding, transformer assembly, final assembly and internal transport of consumable materials and transformer parts. Must have B1 Counterbalance licenceMust have Overhead Crane/Slinger experience/ licenceKey Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and improve level of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the Production facility. Movement of materials and parts between areas, including oven process. Operation of overhead cranes, ride on pallet truck, and fork-lift truck.Shifts: Mornings - 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 13:00 FridayPay Rates: Basic - 15.50 PAYE, 20.52 UMB ( whilst temping)Over time rates available Qualifications: Forklift truck licence B1 Overhead CraneSkills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.Essential Experience: Overhead crane, slinging and lifting experience. Previous exposure to manufacturing/engineering environment.
