The Post: The main purpose of the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher role at Furness Primary School is to deliver a high-quality MFL (Spanish) curriculum to pupils across the school. The aim is: To provide Spanish lessons for whole classes and support the school in attending extra- curricular Spanish events out of school hours and providing after-school Spanish activities for groups of pupils. Work as part of the curriculum team under the leadership of the Curriculum Lead and will be MFL Subject Lead The Person: Must have a strong passion for education. Must be experienced and have a strong working knowledge of teaching Spanish across all phases. Must have high expectations of behaviour and achievement. Must have strong and effective classroom management skills. Must possess the ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a calm, organised work ethic.
