A multi-office accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the South East is hiring an Outsourcing Senior Manager for its Guildford office. You would run your own portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, with the advisory side being the point of the job rather than an add-on. Management information clients actually use, proper conversations about what the numbers mean, and input on decisions before they are made rather than after. The role You will own a portfolio and deliver a full outsourced finance function, with advisory work sitting on top. - Running management accounts, forecasting, budgeting and reporting - Reviewing statutory reporting and compliance, including VAT and HMRC - Leading client meetings and talking business owners through what the numbers are telling them - Flagging risks and opportunities early enough for clients to act on them - Working alongside the tax, audit and payroll teams - Coaching your own team, and in some cases the client''s finance staff Who they are looking for Someone commercially minded who likes client contact and is comfortable sitting across the table from a business owner. - ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience - Practice background, ideally in outsourcing or business services - Used to working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses - Confident ..... full job details .....
