About the RoleWe are working with a small but growing accountancy practice near Hitchin that is looking to hire an Outsourced Finance Manager / Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finances for a group of creative and music-focused businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hand on variety and working closely with exciting clients in the creative sector. If you have a passion for music and festivals, that''s a big plus.The role could work well for someone studying or qualified AAT or studying towards ACCA. You could also be qualified by experience. What You''ll Be DoingManaging the day-to-day bookkeeping for a group of businessesHandling accounts payable and receivableBank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsTicket account reconciliationsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsPayroll processingAssisting with month-end processes and reportingLiaising directly with clients and stakeholdersSupporting year-end preparation and working closely with Fractional FDIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyAbout YouGood academics, potentially studying AAT or ACCA/ QBEPrevious experience in a bookkeeping/accounts assistant or finance manager roleStrong understanding of day-to-day accounting processesComfortable managing multiple entities or ..... full job details .....
