Organization: Ackerman PierceLocation: Guildford, SurreyPosition: 1:1 Tutor for StudentsStart Date: ASAPContract Type: TemporaryEnd Date: Ongoing (definitely until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension)Hours: 6 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)Rate of Pay: 25/ 35 per hourTerm Time Only / During School Hours Only Key Responsibilities:Deliver individualized tutoring in Math and English functional skills to the assigned student.Implement differentiated instruction tailored to the student''s learning needs and abilities.Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote positive learning experiences.Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, addressing SEMH complexities.Collaborate with Ackerman Pierce and other stakeholders to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.Candidate Requirements:Available during school hours, up to 30 hours per week.Experience in delivering the National Curriculum core subjects (Math, English, Science) to students with complex and challenging needs.Knowledge and experience with SEMH, ASC, MLD, and SpLD educational requirements.Proven exceptional behavior management techniques.Willingness to work face-to-face within the community.Qualifications:Background in teaching English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes at KS1-KS5.QTS status (or equivalent) preferred, or unqualified with at least two years of experience teaching National Curriculum core subjects.Minimum of 2 years'' ..... full job details .....
