Outreach Recovery Worker
Job Introduction The Herefordshire Recovery Service (West Midlands) works across the county to support people with alcohol or other drug use, including people struggling with their mental health, housing, and those who are involved with criminal justice. We have been awarded additional funding to support people sleeping rough, or those at risk of rough sleeping, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to stay safe and access treatment. As a result, we are seeking someone to join our team and help us deliver our vision to provide new opportunities to vulnerable people. As a Recovery Worker within the Herefordshire Recovery Service, you will make a real difference as you empower and enable people to change. Passionate about people, you will enjoy support to enhance your own life too, as you make the role your own in a friendly and multidisciplinary team. Role Responsibility Recovery workers act as ''key workers'' to a caseload of service users, supporting them to develop plans to achieve their goals, maintaining regular contact with your clients, offering advice, information and psycho-social interventions as well as providing assessments, risk management planning and working closely with our clinical staff and partner agencies.
