Position - Outreach Mentor Location - Manchester (M15)Pay - £550-£700 per week, depending on experienceStart date - Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (during term time only)Are you an experienced Outreach mentor, seeking a new opportunity within SEMH? We are working with a SEMH provision in Manchester to recruit a calm and resilient Outreach Mentor to join their team. The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils in the community, promoting engagement and development. As an Outreach Mentor, you will:Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting both academic and emotional developmentReguarly communicate with parents and SLTTake attendance in mornings and report to SLTWhat we are looking for:Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needsA full, clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this positionComfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessonsTeam Teach training is highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
