Outreach Mentor - Wythenshawe:

Are you a reliable and compassionate Outreach Driver looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking drivers to join a specialist SEMH provision in Wythenshawe (M22), supporting young people in the community. This is a unique and rewarding role that combines transportation, community outreach and student support.

The Role:

• Transporting students to and from educational settings and outreach activities
• Supporting students in the community under set work plans
• Building positive relationships and promoting engagement
• Working closely with teaching staff and outreach coordinators
• Ensuring safeguarding and safety protocols are followed at all times

Position Details:

• Position: Outreach Mentor
• Location: Wythenshawe
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: -120 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Full, UK driving license is essential for this role
• Experience working with young people, ideally with SEMH, or behavioural needs
• Calm, patient and confident in lone-working situations
• Comfortable driving your own car (mileage reimbursed)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
