Based at Scotstoun with hybrid working arrangements, this 12-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to support maritime naval ship projects with a focus on outfit systems and compartment design.What you''ll be doingUndertaking a defined range of Wholeship - Outfit activities, including outfit systems and compartment design, maintaining quality and service requirementsSupporting system and spatial integration issues with other disciplinesDesign and operation of various outfit systems such as deck coverings, coatings, insulation, and liningsDesigning accommodations and wet spaces, medical areas, and evacuation and lifesaving facilitiesMaking sure the ship''s access and escape routes including doors, hatches, and ladders are properly designed and integrated.Managing commissariat, galley and laundry areas, offices, stores, workshops, and conducting damage control and portable firefighting.Creating equipment procurement packs and adhering to rule sets including Defence Standards, Lloyds, and Naval Rules.
