This rewarding role is a maternity cover position starting in September 2026 and running through until Easter 2027.If you are someone who can engage vulnerable young people, build resilience through outdoor activities, and offer a fresh perspective on education, we want to hear from you.The RoleAs an Outdoor Education Tutor, you will not be tied to a traditional classroom. You will design and deliver practical, engaging outdoor learning programmes tailored to students who thrive outside a mainstream school environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality outdoor education sessions (including bushcraft, team-building, and outdoor sports).Adapt sessions to meet the diverse social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs of the students.Manage safety and risk assessments effectively while maintaining an exciting learning environment.Provide mentor-style support to encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and confidence.What We Are Looking ForExperience: Previous experience working within an Alternative Provision, Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), or with high-risk/SEMH ..... full job details .....
