Electrical Outage ManagerSurrey12+ Month Contract£500+ a day OUTSIDE IR35 pending reviewThe RoleGanymede is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Outage Manager to take ownership of outage planning across a major infrastructure programme within Surrey.This opportunity will give you responsibility for coordinating approximately 100 planned outages across a major programme, working across Construction, Mechanical, Electrical and Operational teams to ensure critical works can be completed while minimising disruption to live operations.The Responsibilities As Outage Manager, you will take outages from initial strategy and planning through to live delivery. You will develop detailed schedules, coordinate labour, engineers, technicians, contractors, plant and equipment, manage electrical isolations and ensure the necessary permits, documentation and controls are in place before work begins.During live outages, you ll provide the on-site coordination between project and operational teams, monitoring progress, responding to changes and ensuring safety, quality, programme and operational requirements remain on track.The Requirements Previous experience planning and managing complex outages, shutdowns or operational isolations. Electrical background and appropriate electrical qualification required. Experience within water, wastewater, utilities, process engineering or comparable operational infrastructure. Sewage Treatment Works process experience strongly advantageous. ..... full job details .....
