An established industrial cybersecurity technology business is looking to appoint an OT Project Delivery Engineer to join its engineering team in Richmond.
 
This is a technically focused engineering role supporting the delivery, configuration and integration of industrial cybersecurity technology into customer environments across critical infrastructure and process industries.
 
The position combines Controls Engineering, Operational Technology (OT) and IT infrastructure, offering the opportunity to work across complex industrial systems while developing broader technical delivery and project responsibilities.
 
The role will involve:
- Supporting the technical delivery and integration of cybersecurity technology into industrial environments
- Configuring, testing and preparing systems for deployment
- Working with industrial control systems, DCS and OT infrastructure
- Supporting integration between operational technology and wider IT networks
- Producing technical documentation, test procedures and engineering deliverables
- Troubleshooting technical issues during configuration, testing and integration
- Coordinating technical activities to support successful project delivery
- Working alongside engineering teams to ensure systems meet technical and operational requirements
 
Candidates should have:
- Strong Controls, DCS or Operational Technology engineering experience
- Experience delivering or integrating control systems within industrial or process environments
- Good understanding of industrial control system architectures and interfaces
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and Linux environments
- Experience with industrial system configuration, testing and technical documentation
- Understanding of how OT systems communicate and integrate with wider IT infrastructure
 
Exposure to industrial cybersecurity, secure industrial networks or IEC 62443 standards would be beneficial but is not essential.
 
Previous experience within oil and gas, power generation, utilities, water treatment, manufacturing or other industrial process environments would be particularly relevant.
 
This opportunity would suit a Controls or OT Engineer looking to develop broader technical delivery responsibilities within industrial cybersecurity, with scope to progress into a more senior, customer facing engineering position.
 
This is a permanent role based at the company''s headquarters in Richmond, with potential for flexible working arrangements in the future.
 
Salary is £58,000 to £63,000 per annum depending on experience.
