Orthodontic Therapist Location: AshfordSalary: CompetitiveVacancy Type: Permanent, Full TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Orthodontic Therapist to join our friendly and professional dental team. The successful candidate will work under the prescription of a Specialist Orthodontist to provide high-quality orthodontic care and support to patients.Key Responsibilities Carry out orthodontic treatments under the prescription of an orthodontist or dentist.Place and adjust orthodontic archwires, brackets, and other appliances.Take dental impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs.Fit orthodontic bands and attachments as prescribed.Remove orthodontic appliances and prepare teeth surfaces after treatment.Provide oral hygiene advice and instructions on maintaining orthodontic appliances.Monitor treatment progress and report concerns to the supervising orthodontist.Maintain accurate clinical records and patient documentation.Ensure compliance with infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance standards. Essential Requirements Qualification in Orthodontic Therapy recognised by the General Dental Council.Current GDC registration as an Orthodontic Therapist (or eligibility to register).Excellent communication and patient care skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team.
