Order Processor - Manufacturing

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Order Processor / Customer Service Advisor to join their busy Warrington-based team.This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing orders from receipt through to delivery, and building strong relationships with customers across the UK and internationally.
Your new role
The position is offered full time, Monday to Friday with working hours between 08.00am and 17.00pm.
There is a hybrid model in place, working from home one day per week.
As an Order Processor / Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a seamless service from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment.Key responsibilities will include:
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently via ERP and internal systems.Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
Providing updates on orders, deliveries, stock availability, and lead times.
Liaising with production, logistics, warehousing, and sales teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Resolving customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
Maintaining accurate customer records and order information.
Monitoring order progress and proactively communicating any delays.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the customer service function.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.


What you''ll need to succeed
Previous experience in a Customer Service, Order Processing, Sales Support, or Internal Account Management role.
Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or supply chain environment would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using ERP or order management systems is desirable.
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
