Order Picker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high standards of quality control. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are keen to contribute to smooth shipping and receiving operations within a dynamic environment. The position involves heavy lifting and requires mechanical knowledge to assist with stock management and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications using warehouse management systems
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring items are packed securely for shipment
• Load and unload goods
• Assist with stock replenishment and organisation within the warehouse
• Conduct quality control checks on packed orders to ensure correctness and completeness
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of packing stations and storage areas
• Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate dispatch schedules
• Support warehouse management system data entry for inventory tracking and order processing

Skills

• Proven experience in materials handling, picking & packing, and stock organisation within a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory control
• Understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and quality control checks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
