Job Title: Optometrist (Part-Time) Working Pattern: 3-4 days per week Employment Type: Permanent Job Summary: An established independent optical practice in a coastal community is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join its friendly and patient-focused team on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic technology while delivering high-quality, personalised eye care in a supportive and relaxed environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for private and NHS patients Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment including OCT and retinal imaging Provide contact lens fittings and ongoing aftercare Support myopia management services for children and young adults Interpret clinical scans and results to support accurate diagnoses Work closely with the dispensing team to ensure optimal eyewear solutions Maintain high clinical standards and excellent patient care Team Development: Collaborate effectively with a supportive dispensing and clinical team Share knowledge and best practice to enhance patient services Contribute positively to a warm, community-focused team culture Support the continued development of specialist clinical services About You: GOC-registered Optometrist Solid clinical experience, ideally within an independent practice Confident with contact lenses and advanced diagnostic technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient-focused, adaptable, and proactive Enthusiastic about ..... full job details .....
