Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens appointments and other associated appointment types, for example dry eye, as required according to appropriate qualifications and business needs. Practice according to the GOC regulations. Advise patients on visual health, including lifestyle factors and preventative care. Work closely with Dispensing Opticians and other support staff to ensure smooth patient journeys. Make appropriate clear recommendations ensuring there is focus on benefits to the patient. Maintain contemporaneous accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
