Role Overview An established independent optical and hearing care provider is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join its team in Surrey. This role focuses on delivering high-quality eye care and promoting eye health in line with professional standards, ensuring the best possible visual outcomes for patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens consultations, and specialist clinics (e.g. dry eye), in line with qualifications and business needs Practice in accordance with General Optical Council (GOC) regulations Provide clear, patient-focused advice on eye health, including lifestyle and preventative care Work collaboratively with dispensing opticians and support teams to deliver a seamless patient experience Make appropriate and well-communicated clinical recommendations with a focus on patient benefit Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records in line with legal and professional standards Utilise and maintain proficiency with advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g. OCT, fundus camera, tonometry, visual fields) Stay up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements Contribute to business growth through excellent patient care and communication Participate in clinical governance and quality assurance processes Qualifications and Experience BSc (Hons) in Optometry (or equivalent) Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) Experience working in a community optometry setting Additional ..... full job details .....
