The business works with customers and optical practices across the UK, repairing glasses that often cannot be fixed in a standard optical practice.The roleGlaze and reglaze prescription lenses using Essilor equipmentCheck lens powers, prescriptions and finished spectacles for accuracyAssess damaged frames and learn specialist glasses repair techniquesHelp process online orders and respond to customer enquiries, mainly by emailSupport the small team with occasional customer appointments and other workshop tasksAbout youYou''ll ideally have optical lab or glazing experience and a good understanding of prescription lenses and frames. Experience with Essilor, Nidek or Huvitz equipment would be useful, but the team can help you adapt to its systems.Previous frame repair or rimless glazing experience would be an advantage, although neither is essential.
