Assisting in DispensingOffer the customer general advice and guidanceImplement minor repairs to framesCarry out OCT, retinal photography, tonometry and visual field tests supplementary to an eye examination and to alert the optometrist to any unusual / abnormal features identified through these processesKeep appropriate records and report to the Practice Manager as requiredSelling and Customer Relationship ManagementMaximise sales whilst minimising costs to ensure the achievement of specified margins and targetsAscertain the wants and needs of each customerRecommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and wantsDescribe merchandise and explain its use, benefits, operation and care to customersMaintain knowledge of current sales and promotions as well as policies regarding payment, exchanges and securityServe customers, bag and package purchasesObserve and identify security risks and theft and to prevent and attend to these occurrences appropriatelyEnsure that the practice provides excellent customer service at all times, meeting and where possible exceeding customer expectationsAnswer the telephones and deal with enquiries and appointmentsManage enquiries, complaints, refunds etc, as requiredImplement the policies and procedures set out in the ..... full job details .....
