YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN OPTICS. IF NOT, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED The Practice This modern practice underwent a complete refit in Summer 2025 and offers a bright, contemporary working environment. The practice benefits from two testing rooms, six-day testing, and a strong clinical focus, supported by a resident Optometrist and regular locum cover. The team consists of approximately 5-6 members of staff on the shop floor, with everyone contributing to the smooth running of the practice through dispensing, pre-screening, and patient support. Team members also develop individual areas of responsibility, including contact lenses, NHS administration, lab oversight, ordering spectacles, and managing outstanding jobs. Additional facilities include dedicated storage areas, a meeting room, and an in-house lab used for edging and storage.
