Job Title Operative (Electro-Mechanical Assembly)Contract Type Fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026Working Pattern Preferred working hours: 06 00 (Monday to Thursday) Working Friday (alternate weeks): 06 00 Every other Friday off Flexible start times available, subject to business needs Job Description Summary The Production Operative will work on the shop floor building high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies and operating automated test equipment in line with defined quality standards. The role supports production output and customer delivery deadlines within a structured manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities - Build electrical and mechanical assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards - Carry out soldering activities to the required quality standards - Assemble wiring looms and components, including wiring to engineering drawings- - Operate automated test equipment on sub-assemblies and completed assemblies - Perform self-inspection to ensure products meet quality requirements - Record and report any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances - Pack finished products in line with company and customer requirements - Adhere to all work instructions, quality standards, and production timescales - Achieve agreed output and quality targets - Maintain strong ESD and FOD awareness at all times - Maintain a clean, safe, and organised shop-floor working environment - Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines, ..... full job details .....
