Operative

We''re looking for an Operative to join our South West Water team based in Bournemouth. Location: BournemouthHours: 45 hours per week covering shifts across Monday to Sunday. There will also be a requirement to join an On Call rota. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As an Operative, you''ll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in working on schemes including mains repairs, new connections, and metering, all within a team that values comradery and collaboration. You''ll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, creating a secure and protected work environment which is always the highest priority at Kier. What will you be responsible for? As an Operative, you''ll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in working on schemes including mains repairs, new connections, and metering. Your day to day will include: Undertaking planned or reactive work as directed from water services to large diameter mains Ensuring levels of productivity working within timescales and to targets Updating all relevant documentation on each job using a tablet Being part of a rapid response team that works around the clock to deliver and restore clean water Promoting wellbeing and ensuring an inclusive workplace where diversity is actively encouraged What are we looking for?
