Operations Supervisor

-Multimodal Logistics / Team Supervision / Career Progression- A growing logistics company is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join its multimodal operations team in West Drayton. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on supervisory role combining shipment management, team supervision, customer service, compliance, and operational improvement. The successful individual will manage their own shipments while supporting the day-to-day activities and development of the wider operations team. This is an opportunity to take on broader responsibility within a growing logistics environment, with exposure to multimodal operations and the development of new services. Main Responsibilities Manage import, export, and cross-trade shipments from start to finish across air, sea, and road freight Supervise and support the daily activities and performance of the operations team Monitor operational KPIs and ensure compliance with SOPs, customs, and trade requirements Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and customer concerns Coordinate with carriers, customers, overseas agents, and internal departments Provide training and guidance to team members while leading by example Support workload planning, resource allocation, process improvements, and the development of new logistics services Ideal Candidate Minimum 5 years'' experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations ..... full job details .....
