Job Title: Operations ScientistLocation: Witney (OX29 0YL)Pay Rate: £33,500 per annumContract duration:12 monthsHours: Monday to FridayWork mode: OnsiteResponsibilitiesTo provide support to Operations through scientific experimentation and prototype fabrication. To perform testing of product or materials analysis, reporting and review of resultsPerform testing to protocol or procedure whilst adhering to good laboratory practiceDevelop protocols to accomplish goalsProduce prototype product or communicate protoype requirements to support experiments.Utilise analytical instruments and train others in their operationParticipate in experimental design discussions, identify variables that may impact experimental resultsAnalyse data, evaluate results and form conclusionsPrepares effective summaries of results and communicates these to wider teamCompile and maintain records as required by good laboratory practiceWrites clear and technically correct reports with feedback from colleaguesLiase with other departments and present technical information to team meetingsHave awareness of change control procedures applicable to roleKnow and apply knowledge of health and saftey proceduresResponsible for own laboratory notebook and for the accuracy, quality and timeliness of experimental resultsEnsures that all work complies with the quality systemUses scientific and industry literature to broaden technical and theoretical understandingHighlights improvement opportunities to managerPurchases ..... full job details .....
