Role: Operations scientistLocation: WitneySalary: 33,500 p.aWork hours: 37.5 hours a weekJob type: 6 MonthsClient:AbbottRoles and ResponsibilitiesPerform testing to protocol or procedure whilst adhering to good laboratory practiceDevelop protocols to accomplish goalsProduce prototype product or communicate protoype requirements to support experiments.Utilise analytical instruments and train others in their operationParticipate in experimental design discussions, identify variables that may impact experimental resultsAnalyse data, evaluate results and form conclusionsPrepares effective summaries of results and communicates these to wider teamCompile and maintain records as required by good laboratory practiceWrites clear and technically correct reports with feedback from colleaguesLiase with other departments and present technical information to team meetingsHave awareness of change control procedures applicable to roleKnow and apply knowledge of health and safety proceduresResponsible for own laboratory notebook and for the accuracy, quality and timeliness of experimental resultsEnsures that all work complies with the quality systemUses scientific and industry literature to broaden technical and theoretical understandingHighlights improvement opportunities to managerConsistently demonstrates recognised behavioursBasic QualificationsA Levels ( 16 years) STEM subjects desirable but not requiredExperience of working in a laboratory, scientific or technical environment or other ..... full job details .....
