Operations Manager

Strange + Wright Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business in Peterborough who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to join their Senior Management Team. This is a broad and hands-on leadership role with responsibility for Facilities, Engineering, Warehouse Operations and Health and Safety across the site. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the business operates safely, efficiently and in line with its growth objectives. The Role As Operations Manager, you will lead a multi-functional team, driving operational performance whilst maintaining high standards of compliance, safety and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Leading the Facilities, Engineering and Warehouse functions. Holding overall responsibility for site Health and Safety and driving a positive safety culture. Managing and developing a team of Maintenance Engineers, Warehouse personnel and a Health and Safety Coordinator. Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and improve asset performance. Overseeing warehouse operations, stock accuracy, picking performance and dispatch activities. Managing facilities, contractors and site services to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
