Operations Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in the Ashton Under Lyne area working on a permanent basis. Salary is c 80-90,000 per annum (Depending on experience) plus 25 days'' holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, healthcare, pension etc. About the Operations Manager role: This is a senior operational role suited to someone who has developed their career within a machining, CNC, fabrication or precision engineering environment and has progressed into a management position. The successful candidate will be a confident and credible manufacturing leader who is comfortable being hands-on when required, challenging existing ways of working and holding teams accountable for performance, quality and delivery. The Role As Operations Manager / Factory Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility, leading teams and driving improvements across production and operational performance. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and leading manufacturing and production teams across the facility. Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day factory operations. Driving performance, productivity, quality and on-time delivery. Challenging underperformance and ensuring clear accountability across the team.
