Operations Manager Energy from Waste Up to circa £80,000 + bonus up to 20% + benefitsSouth London SCINERGY Recruitment are supporting the appointment of an Operations Manager for an operational Energy from Waste power station in South London.This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the facility. The Operations Manager will lead and develop the operations team, drive continuous improvement and ensure the plant achieves its operational, environmental and commercial objectives.This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining high operational standards, improving plant performance and supporting the continued safe and reliable operation of the facility.Key responsibilities: Lead and develop the Operations Department, including Shift Team Leaders, Plant Operators and Outside OperatorsDrive safe, compliant and efficient plant operations in line with environmental permit requirementsWork closely with the HSEQ Manager to ensure full understanding and adherence to site procedures and regulatory standardsMonitor plant performance, identify trends and report operational KPIs to senior stakeholdersIdentify and implement opportunities to improve plant reliability, efficiency and operational performanceEnsure full compliance with Environment Agency and National Grid requirementsConduct performance reviews, appraisals and ongoing coaching of operations staffSupport outage planning and coordinate operational activities with ..... full job details .....
