Operations Manager
to join their London team.You will have end-to-end responsibility across supplier management, sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and fulfilment. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the operations and supply chain function of this creative and fast-growing business, optimising efficiencies and driving excellence to support their continued growth and expansion.If you’re a hands-on and solutions-focused Operations Manager who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and has a background working with an international customer base, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of the end-to-end operations and supply chain for the business across including supplier management, fulfilment, inventory management, and international and domestic logisticsEnsuring swift and cost effective delivery to both domestic and international clients, providing a first class service at all timesManage and optimise inventory and stock availability across the businessBuild strong relationships with warehouse and shipping partners to streamline distribution, championing communication and operational alignmentOwn global logistics for the business, working with freight partners, customs clearance and paperwork, tariffs, etc to ensure swift, accurate, and cost-effective shipping solutionsAct as the operational link between production, sales, and third-party logistics providers, ensuring strong alignment across the boardOversee compliance with UK and international regulations, including GPSR, FSC compliance, plastic tax, etcOwn the operational performance metrics, developing and tracking KPIs that drive continuous improvementTake a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving challenges and improving processesWhat You’ll Bring:Solid experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain within a product-based business, preferably within categories such as homewares or lifestyle productsStrong knowledge of both production and inventory managementExperience managing international fulfilment and compliance, including exports and regulatory changesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with THE ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly at all levelsA proactive problem solver with the ability to foresee problems and propose solutionsA passion for quality and delivering customer satisfactionA strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and hands-on executionHighly organised with a process-driven approach and strong attention to detailConfident using Excel, CRM platforms, and supply chain toolsExperience in a scaling or SME business where agility and adaptability are essentialDiversity and Inclusion: ILMJ is committed to building an inclusive team.
