They have a rare opportunity for a forward-thinking Operations Manager to support the Managing Director with the day to day running of the company and who can drive the business forward. The Operation Manager must be happy working in an office based role as part of the management team in a busy, fast paced engineering/manufacturing environment. Duties: Support the Managing Director with the day to day running of the company including management of staff (holidays, lateness and disciplinary etc.) Be responsible for all pre-production processes Dealing with customer enquiries, producing quotes from customer specifications through to launching jobs and or ordering materials Work from engineering drawings to advise clients on product application Work closely with the manufacturing team and advise on manufacturing processes.
